Interiors

I’ve been photographing a lot of holiday cottages recently. I really quite enjoy it.
It’s always a challenge to find a way to light interiors, especially when you’re talking about small guest-rooms – there generally aren’t a lot of places to hide the flashguns. I’ve recently picked up an SC-28 cable to help me with this problem. I’ve put off buying one of these for so long, but now I have one I can safely say I couldn’t live without it. Having the ability to run the SU-800 commander off camera to fire the remotes is a massive blessing as you don’t need line of sight from where the camera is placed. This means I can place lights round corners and in different rooms (as long as they can see the SU-800), giving me a much more flexible work-flow and allows me to move a lot quicker through some very complicated set-ups.
