Emma Cornes Anglesea

Emma Cornes Bags released a new range inspired by the landscape of Llandywn Island on Anglesea. So there really only was one place to shoot the promotional images.

We started the day with a more urban shoot on the front in Beaumaris, the day was bright with some sun, but it was bitterly cold. March in Wales. We threw a bit of off camera flash into the mix, to build up the ‘sunlight’, and rattled through a few locations to get as much variety as we could.

We then moved on to Newborough and Llandwyn. As the gates were shut on the road through the woods we had to walk 40 minutes to get to the peninsula. As we got to our first location the sky began to darken as black clouds came very quickly out of no where. You cannot trust coastal weather. We turned the flashguns up a notch and got a bit creative with the compositions and made it of the island before the heavens opened.

Our two models, Sam and Vicky were absolute troopers, staying calm and collected in weather that was very challenging for hair.
