I’ve recently been doing a lot of work in the 3D realm for a number of clients, and wanted to further my craft and create some personal work.
Working in the open-source program Blender and using the Cycles rendering engine, I’ve been experimenting with particle systems and have created these ‘Grass Planets’.
Playing with these on screen has been great, but I really wanted to do some extremely high-resolution renders and see these printed out. The level of detail on these 7K renders is absurd and I love them. The first set of prints has already found a home, and I’ll be doing a limited edition run of ten sets. Giclee printed onto card-backed canvas.
The prints are sold unframed, but will perfectly fit a 50×50 IKEA Ribba frame, and look great with the deep recess. That’s what the buyers of #1 went for.
