This weekend I went back to Le Petit Doigt to shoot some of the menu there.
I’ve been looking forward to this shoot for a while and honestly, chef Ollie Williams did not disappoint.
I talk a lot about attention to detail, it’s the centre of most of my work, but Ollie takes it to a whole new level. When I asked him about any visual references for the shoot in terms of tone, he said ‘Rembrandt’. Absolute music to my ears. He wanted contrast, he wasn’t afraid of darkness and I was a happy boy.
